Never Such Innocence 2026

I am delighted that my acclaimed World War One show Never Such Innocence with the brilliant classical pianist Gamal Khamis is being revived for three special tenth anniversary London performances around Remembrance Day 2026. Never Such Innocence is a narrative recital of words and music from the First World War interwoven with the story of my own great uncle Percy O’Key, who served as a boy soldier in the war. It was first performed in November 2016 as part of the Somme 100 commemorations and has since been seen nationwide in theatres, festivals and concert venues, as well as being featured on BBC Radio 3 where it was described as "an incredibly moving performance".
