Professional voice-over studio
As well as a being a regular visitor to central London sound studios, Chris is available to clients worldwide on a daily basis from the superbly appointed studio of his company CKUK Media. The studio is purpose built and has gained a reputation as one of the best specialist vocal studios in London, featuring highend equipment such as Neumann U87 mics, Focusrite preamps and a ProTools HD recording system. You can work with Chris at the studio in the following ways:
IN PERSON
If you are in or near to London, you and your clients are always welcome to attend the recording session. The studio is very client friendly, with a client lounge, wireless internet access and very good coffee!
ISDN/SOURCE CONNECT/AUDIO TX
Real time remote recording sessions with compatible studios worldwide. The CKUK studio offers CDQ Prima, APTx Worldnet Tokyo and Audio TX codecs and is a Source Connect certified studio.
AUDIO DELIVERED BY FTP AND EMAIL
Simply email your script and Chris will record it in pristine digital audio, edit it and supply in your preferred format—usually broadcast quality WAV or AIFF files—via our dedicated client delivery area.
PHONE PATCH
Full phone patch access is available to all recording sessions so you and/or your client can direct or monitor the recording and listen back to it afterwards over the phone. If you and your client are in different locations we can organise conference line access to the session.
WORKING TO PICTURE
If you already have a film to voice to, simply supply it in Quicktime, WMV or similar format and Chris will record to picture and supply you with a timed audio track afterwards to drop into your timeline in the edit suite.
MUSIC & SFX
The studio has a comprehensive library of music and sound effects and offers full production services when required.
OTHER VOICES
CKUK works with many other voices in many other languages and has expert casting knowledge. So if the requirement is just for a British female voice to partner Chris or you want the same text recorded in thirty languages, let us know and we will be able to help.
